When the tournament is played
We are there when it matters to you.
During the tournament, it is important that everything flaps and works as it should. We are used to handling many tournaments at the same time. Everything from small local tournaments to the world's largest tournaments spread all over the world.
Common to all of them is that things need to flow smoothly during the tournament days. It must be easy for your participants to find the right information and if something unexpected occurs, you are never alone. We are always ready to help!
Cup Manager is built to simplify for everyone in your organization and your participants. Whether it's the referee, the person standing in your checkin, the team manager who wants to watch the final being played or the person at home who wants to watch the game live. Below is a summary of some of the tools we offer.
Administration - Features and Overview
As an administrator (or your competition director), you can easily get an overview of all matches being played and all matches that should have received reported results. It allows you to easily identify hallways or plans where you have problems, but also see that everything is working properly instead of sitting around waiting for someone else to notice something that isn't working.
Given that it is always fully synchronized so what you see is what appears on websites and in result phones.
In addition to directly entering results in Cup Manager you can also use our admin app Cup Manager Admin (Download it here) or our result phones . They support both entering final scores and entering live results - goal by goal.
The admin app is suitable for small and medium-sized indoor tournaments where the secretariat can have access to a smartphone or tablet with the app installed, while our result phones can be used in any mode (e.g. outdoors) no matter how many plans you have. You rent the phones from us and they are delivered to you before the tournament is fully configured and linked to your plans to reduce your administration.
Cup Manager has support for entering results and match events live while the match is being played. This is done either via our adminapp or via our results telephones that you rent from us.
When using our system for live results, it is possible to also report match events. Which events can be reported differ between different sports and which method is used to report the results. If you are interested in the details, it is therefore best to contact us with a question.
Cup Manager has a selection of match cards that can be used to document matches by the secretariat or referees. Contact us if you want to get an overview and find what suits you best. Of course, the match cards are pre-filled with the matches you have in your schedule.
Cup Manager has a feature that allows team managers to choose which players participate in each match before the start of the match. If necessary, they can also change the jersey number of the player. This makes it easier for you to administer and monitor rules about overage players and sending offs that span multiple matches.
Of course, all group tables are automatically sorted when matches are completed. This includes using mutual meeting to rank the teams. You can also use the results of previous groups if you have several group games in a row.
The automatic sorting also applies to arrangements where, for example, the use of the product is used. Best 3 to level the playoffs. If the teams come from groups of different sizes, you can compensate for the group size in 3 ways:
- Ignore it
- Divide the table results by the number of matches
- Remove the results of the worst team in the groups with an extra team
Just like the table sorting, teams move on automatically from the group stage when a group is finished. Should several teams end up on the same, the tournament management will have the opportunity to decide the order with e.g. draws or extra penalties before the teams move on.
Communication - Features and overview
Cup Manager is integrated with the most common streaming providers. Read more on our page about live streaming.
We believe that it can automate functions and enable each team to have a professional experience of their participation. An example of this is that the system automatically calculates awards for all teams. For example, if you have scored the most goals in a certain class or come first in a group.
Of course, all information out to your visitors is always up to date. This applies whether you look at your website or in your app.
During the tournament, you can easily send push notifications to everyone who has installed your app. Read more about what the app offers on our tournament app page .
You can easily select favorite teams and then quickly get access to both sides of the individual teams and a schedule with all the teams' matches.
You can enable a feature where visitors can subscribe to a team's results themselves. After each match is completed, an SMS is sent out with the match result and when the next match is played. An SMS is also sent when the group is finished playing.
On-call support is always included!
Don't forget that on-call support is always included in your license. During your tournament you can always call our supports and get help with problems that arise or questions you have. This applies to technical questions about the system as well as questions about how best to solve teams withdrawing at the last second or how best to sort results

We have extensive experience in helping both before and during tournaments to make everything flow painlessly. Let's be your rock when it breaks loose!
